Now, Baba Ramdev would do Anna on Black money: "As if the satyagraha by Gandhi leader Anna Hazare on the corruption and Lok pal bill was enough, the UPA II govt. would have to brace for another such nation wide agitation from 4th June by famous Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. Preparations are already on by Baba’s supporters and they would leave no stone unturned to make sure that Baba’s noise are heard at the right quarters.
He has already said during his nationwide tours during the last 40 days that he would launch a nationwide agitation against black money and will demand withdrawal of higher denomination of currency to check circulation of black money. He feels the higher denomination notes are responsible for the Black money circulation and wants the government to make it mandatory for those who have money parked in foreign banks to declare them and also to close the Mauritius route, which is a haven for tax evaders.
Many political analysts feel that the Baba has already seen the spontaneous response from across the country two months ago on Anna Hazare campaign and he knows that the people of India are sick and tired of corruption. It was his support at Janatar Mantar that brought in so much of media coverage and made the movement a huge success. At the same time, he was the first one to question the rationale behind the inclusion of Shanti bhushan= Prashat bhushan duo into the bill drafting team on behalf of the Civil Society and later walked off that in a huff.
